Tajik-Uzbek interior bodies discussed bilateral cooperation in Tashkent
DUSHANBE, 14.08.2017 /NIAT “Khovar”/. The delegation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan headed by the First Deputy Minister Abdurahmon Alamshozoda in order to attend the first meeting of the Coordination Group of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan departed for Tashkent city, Uzbekistan.
According to the Interior Ministry of the Republic of Tajikistan, the First Deputy Minister Abdurahmon Alamshozoda met with the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdusalom Azizov as part of the first meeting of the Coordination Group.
During the meeting the parties expressed their views on the development of bilateral cooperation between the Tajik and Uzbek Interior Ministries, the fight against crime, especially terrorism, extremism, illegal drug trafficking, security and other crimes.
“A number of beneficial proposals on exchange of experiences and information, as well as on strengthening of bilateral cooperation were also offered”, the source said.
