Ambassador of Tajikistan in Qatar presented copies of his credentials
DUSHANBE, 19.09.2017 /NIAT “Khovar”/. On 17 September, the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to Qatar Khisrav Sohibzoda presented copies of his credentials to the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Qatar Ahmad Hasan al-Hamadi.
According to the MFA Information Department, after the ceremony of presenting copies of credentials a conversation took place, during which the important issues of development of the Tajik-Qatari relations and prospects for their expansion in various fields were discussed. The parties expressed satisfaction with the level of achieved cooperation and outlined further steps for the practical implementation of the results of the official visit of the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon to Qatar, and the agreements reached at the highest level in Doha in February 2017.
There was also an exchange of views on other issues of mutual interest.
