DUSHANBE, 19.09.2017. /NIAT “Khovar”/. On the third day of the 5th Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games, which is being held in Turkmen capital — Ashgabat, the Tajik athletes won four bronze medals.

According to the National Olympic Committee of the Republic of Tajikistan, in today’s competitions Tajik athletes Hasan Yoriyev in the weight category -82 kg, Abdurahmon Mamatqulov -100 kg, Mahmad Mirov +100 kg and Samandar Ernazarov +100 kg won bronze medals in traditional wrestling of classical style.

We will recall that Abdurahmon and Samandar have also won bronze medals in the free-style wrestling.

After the 3 days of competition, the Republic of Tajikistan with 1 silver and 10 bronze medals among 63 participating states ranks 19 spot in medal standings. The host country — Turkmenistan with 29 gold, 21 silver and 12 bronze is in the first spot, the Islamic Republic of Iran with 4 gold medals, 2 silver and 6 bronze medals in the second spot and Uzbekistan with three gold medals, five silver and 20 bronze medals in the third spot.

To date, the athletes of 23 states won the medals, including athletes of 17 states won gold medals.
