DUSHANBE, 28.09.2017. /NIAT «Khovar»/. The Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon chaired today a regular meeting of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.

The issues on the agenda included domestic matters related to socioeconomic development.

The Chairman of the Committee for Architecture and Construction and Minister of Education and Science briefed the President on the implementation of a number of draft resolutions of the Government of Tajikistan, in particular the draft resolution “On local authority regulation of architectural and town-planning activities” and “About the State program of development and implementation of information and communication technologies in the comprehensive educational institutions of the Republic of Tajikistan for the period of 2018-2022”.

The chairmen of relevant districts briefed the President on General Plan of Action for the rolling out of Panjakent city and on General Plan of Action for the rolling out of Ayni village – the center of Ayni district in Sughd Province.

At the meeting the members of the Government discussed, approved and submitted for consideration of Majlisi namoyandagon Majlisi Oli a number of draft laws concerning the draft Laws of the Republic of Tajikistan “On making changes and addenda to the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan «On education”, the draft Laws of the Republic of Tajikistan “On making changes and addenda to the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan  «On scientific activity and the national scientific-and-technological policy”, the draft Laws of the Republic of Tajikistan “On making changes and addenda to the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan «On holidays”.

Besides, the members of the Government of Tajikistan sent for consideration of the Majlisi namoyandagon Majlisi Oli (Parliament of Tajikistan) 6 conclusions of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan concerning the draft Constitutional Laws of the Republic of Tajikistan “On making changes and addenda to the Constitutional Law of the Republic of Tajikistan «On the order of solving issues of the administrative-territorial system of the Republic of Tajikistan”, the draft Laws of the Republic of Tajikistan “On making changes and addenda to the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan «On the Symbols of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan”, the draft Laws of the Republic of Tajikistan “On making changes and addenda to the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan «On Road Traffic Safety», the draft Laws of the Republic of Tajikistan “On making changes and addenda to the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan «On Freedom of Conscience and Religious Associations”.

The meeting participants also discussed and adopted a resolution addressing the proposal of Majlis of people’s deputies of Varzob district on granting the category of the settlement to Rabot in the Varzob-Qal’a, Varzob district; on the regulation of the Museum Fund of the Republic of Tajikistan, on the development of Cinematography of the Republic of Tajikistan for 2018-2022, and, the General Requirements to vocational training, retraining, advanced training and practical training of workers in state organizations.

The President outlined the priority tasks for the members of the Government on measures for thorough preparedness of the national economy and the social sector for the autumn-winter period.
