Participation in the festive event in honor of the 26th anniversary of the State Independence
DUSHANBE, 18.09.2017. /NIAT “Khovar”/. Tonight, the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan His Excellency Emomali Rahmon took part and delivered a congratulatory speech in the festive celebrations in honor of the 26th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan that were held at the central stadium of the capital.
The President of the country sincerely congratulated all the glorious people of the country, residents of the capital and all foreign compatriots on the occasion of the blessed and sacred national holiday — the 26th anniversary of the State Independence, wished every conscientious individual of the country happiness and increasing achievements.
The head of state noted that independence and freedom were the beginning of a qualitatively new historical stage, and we have achieved remarkable results on the path of ensuring the political, socio-economic and cultural development of the country in 26 years thanks to honest work of the people.
After the speech of the President, a solemn cultural program took place, in which artists, amateurs, and students of higher educational institutions took part.
