President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon met with the Vice President of «Huawei» Technology Company Ms. Lin Ruiqi
DUSHANBE, 02.09.2017. /NIAT “Khovar”/. The issues related to cooperation in the field of tele-radio communications were discussed at the meeting of the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan His Excellency Emomali Rahmon with the Vice President of the «Huawei» Technology Company Ms. Lin Ruiqi.
During the meeting President Emomali Rahmon, taking into account the import and installation of modern technology in various sectors, stressed the importance of strengthening cooperation in the direction of training Tajik specialists for effective activities in this field.
We will recall that the cooperation of “Huawei” Company with Tajikistan began in 2009, and one of its largest projects is the “Safe City” project, that is, the installation of road safety supervision cameras on the streets of Dushanbe. Representation of the “Huawei” Company in the Republic of Tajikistan provided 140 people with jobs, 135 of them are local specialists.
During the meeting, the “Huawei” Company management expressed its readiness to enroll a dozen young Tajik specialists for study in China.
The parties also held a constructive dialogue on other important areas of cooperation and the development of modern technology attraction projects in Tajikistan.
