DUSHANBE, 03.09.2017. /NIAT “Khovar”/. The ceremony of signing of the loan agreement between the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Export-Import Bank of the People’s Republic of China on the allocation of a soft loan in the amount of 79 million USD for the implementation of the project of reconstruction of high-voltage 500-kV power transmission line for districts of republican subordination took place in Beijing in the presence of the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan His Excellency Emomali Rahmon.

The agreement was signed from the Tajik side by the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Tajikistan Abdusalom Kurboniyon and from the Chinese side by the Vice President of the Export-Import Bank of the People’s Republic of China Sun Ping.

Also, within the framework of the state visit of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon to the People’s Republic of China, a signing ceremony of a package of bilateral agreements on cooperation between the companies of Tajikistan and China took place in Beijing, in particular:

Agreement on Cooperation in the field of Science and Technology between the Agrarian University of the Republic of Tajikistan named after Shirinsho Shotemur and the Scientific Research Institute of the Agricultural Academy of the People’s Republic of China;

Memorandum of Understanding between the Agrarian University of the Republic of Tajikistan named after Shirinsho Shotemur and the Agricultural Academy of the People’s Republic of China;

Memorandum of Understanding between the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tajikistan and the National Nuclear Corporation of the People’s Republic of China on cooperation in the field of nuclear technology for peaceful purposes;

Memorandum of Understanding between the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tajikistan and the International Corporation for Aeronautical Development of the People’s Republic of China on cooperation in the development of unmanned aerial systems for various purposes;

Memorandum of Cooperation between the “Gayur Sanoat” Company and the Limited Liability Company “Xinhua Tien Chen”;

Memorandum of Cooperation between the “Gayur” Company and the Limited Liability Company “Jinno Glass Ceramic Groups”;

Memorandum of Cooperation between the “TALCO” Company of the Republic of Tajikistan and the “Yunnan” Company;

Memorandum of Cooperation between “TALCO” and the China Road and Bridge Corporation;

Memorandum of Cooperation between “TALCO” and Investment Company of “General Nice Investment”.

We can confidently note that after signing such important documents on cooperation by the construction of joint industrial enterprises, the huge capital of Chinese companies will enter in the economy of our country and will make a worthy contribution to creating jobs, using the material wealth of the country, developing various sectors and improving the level of the Tajik economy.

We will recall that to date the normative-legal base of bilateral cooperation consisted of about 200 acts covering important areas.

As part of the state visit of the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan His Excellency Emomali Rahmon to the People’s Republic of China, 24 documents on cooperation were signed as a whole.
