Staff of the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Republic of Turkey visits Organized Industrial Zone in Ankara
DUSHANBE, 14.09.2017. /NIAT “Khovar”/. The staff of the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Republic of Turkey paid a visit to the 1st Ankara Organized Industrial Zone (ASO) for the purpose of studying the experience of industrial zones in the country of residence.
According to the MFA Information Department, during the visit Mahmadali Rajabiyon, the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Republic of Turkey has met with Ayhan Gökmen, the Organized Industrial Zone’s Executive Board Chairmen. Along with discussing issues related to the ASO’s experience, the sides also have exchanged views on the possibility of establishing the mutually beneficial cooperation between the 1st Ankara Organized Industrial Zone and Free Economic Zones of the Republic of Tajikistan.
Both sides emphasized the importance of organizing visits of the business delegations from the two countries to get acquainted with each other’s work, explore opportunities for cooperation, learn best practices, establish joint ventures, introduce new technologies and increase trade turnover.
The sides expressed their willingness to start cooperation in the fields of mutual interest and emphasized the need to strengthen the practical aspects of economic and trade cooperation.
The Embassy’s staff also have been acquainted with activities of the certain enterprises, including aluminum processing plant, plastic products manufacturing plant, furniture factory and others. Being one of ten industrial zones of Ankara, the 1st Organized Industrial Zone has annual production capacity estimated to 6 billion US dollars.
