Tajikistan and Switzerland discussed issues to establish cooperation between museums, universities and educational centres
DUSHANBE, 20.09.2017. /NIAT “Khovar”/. Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Swiss Confederation, Jamshed Hamidov has met on September 19 with the President of the Canton of Bern Bernhard Pulver.
According to the MFA Information Department, during the meeting, the interlocutors have discussed the establishment of cooperation between the museums of the canton of Bern and Tajikistan, as well as between the universities and educational centres.
We will recall that diplomatic relations between the Republic of Tajikistan and Swiss Confederation were established on December 9, 1992. The Swiss Office for Cooperation is functioning since November 2001 in Dushanbe. On July 9, 2008 the Permanent Representation of the Republic of Tajikistan to the UN Geneva office was opened. On September 3, 2010 the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in Geneva was opened. The legal framework currently consists of more than 10 documents.
