DUSHANBE, 15.09.2017. /NIAT “Khovar”/. The current champion of Uzbekistan – Tashkent’s “Lokomotiv” sent a congratulatory letter to the champion of Tajikistan – Dushanbe’s “Istiqlol” with the exit to the AFC Cup-2017 Inter-zone final.

According to the press service of the Football Federation of Tajikistan, in an official letter of Tulabek Akramov, Deputy General Director of the Tashkent’s club “Lokomotiv”, which was addressed to Shohrukh Saidzoda, the President of FC “Istiqlol”, reads, in particular: “The team of the professional football club “Lokomotiv” (Tashkent) — leadership, coaching staff, players and personnel — congratulate your team “Istiqlol” (Dushanbe) with an exit to the semi-finals of the AFC Cup. We wish you constant progress, development and many more victories for the benefit of Tajik football”.

We will recall that in the AFC Cup-2017 inter-zone final “Istiqlol” will meet with last year’s finalist of the AFC Cup – Indian club “Bengaluru”. The first leg will be held on September 27 at the Hissar Central Stadium, and the second leg will be held on October 18 in the Indian city of Bangalore. The winner of this pair will meet with the winner of the pair Al-Wahda (Syria) — Air Force (Iraq) in the AFC Cup final match on November 4.
