Meeting of the Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon with brother of Emir of the State of Qatar Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani
DUSHANBE, 09.10.2017. /NIAT «Khovar»/. The Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan His Excellency Emomali Rahmon received today Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani.
The two sides discussed a wide range of issues in bilateral cooperation, first and foremost in the areas of education, healthcare, industry and energy, as well as cultural sphere, air transportation, banking system, and tourism.
During the meeting Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani, brother of His Highness Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar, offered condolences on behalf of the friendly people of Qatar and the Qatari Government over the untimely passing away of Tajikistan President’s brother – Nuriddin Rahmon.
