The expansion of multifaceted cooperation between Tajikistan and Turkmenistan had been discussed in Ashgabat
DUSHANBE, 26.10.2017 /NIAT “Khovar”/. The expansion issues of bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and Turkmenistan in the fields of science, education, healthcare, youth and sports had been discussed in Ashgabat at the meeting of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to Turkmenistan Farrukh Sharifzoda with the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Sapardurdy Toyliyev in Ashgabat.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ Information Department, Farrukh Sharifzoda met with Turkmen Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Maqsat Babaev in Ashkhabad. During the meeting, the interlocutors expressed their willingness to strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation in the fields of energy, oil and gas, including providing oil products, coke, natural gas and liquids, searching deposits and their mining and processing, creation of joint ventures and scholarships for Tajikistan citizens in the International Oil and Gas University of Turkmenistan.
It is also reported that Ambassador Farrukh Sharifzoda met with the Minister of Education of Turkmenistan Purly Agamirov and discussed the prospects of development of bilateral relations between Tajikistan and Turkmenistan in the field of science and education.
