The issue of improving the efficiency of rescuers’ work discussed in Dushanbe
DUSHANBE, 25.10.2017. /NIAT “Khovar”/. The prospects of bilateral cooperation in the field of training and retraining of rescuers were discussed at the meeting of the Chairman of the Committee for Emergency Situations and Civil Defense under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan Rustam Nazarzoda and the delegation of the U.S. Embassy in the Republic of Tajikistan led by Defense Attaché Daniel Zeytoonian. NIAT “Khovar” has been reported by the head of the CESCD’s press center Umeda Yusufi.
According to the source, the issues of creating courses for psychologists, cynological service of the CESCD under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan in the future, implementation of new joint projects between the Committee and the US Embassy, exchange of experience, provision of methodological assistance in conducting emergency rescue operations in the event of natural disasters have been discussed.
Rustam Nazarzoda briefed guests about the carried out works in the field of prevention and elimination of the consequences of emergencies, and noted that further cooperation and interaction between the two countries will improve the effectiveness of rescuers’ work, since the main goal is common – it is the saving of human lives.
Daniel Zeytoonian, highly appreciating the work of the CESCD, noted that holding such meetings plays an important role in expanding relations between states.
