Tajikistan, China to launch new air routes connecting Dushanbe, Beijing

DUSHANBE, 11.03.2025 /NIAT “Khovar”/. On March 11, Director of the Civil Aviation Agency under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan Habibullo Nazarzoda met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China in Tajikistan Ji Shumin.
During the meeting they discussed the opening of direct flights between the capitals of the two countries and development of the civil aviation industry.
Ji Shumin said that the People’s Republic of China also plans to carry out direct flights through other airports of the country in order to develop tourism of the two states.
It should be reminded that currently there is a direct flight on the route “Dushanbe — Urumqi”.
