Women-entrepreneurs of Khatlon region received grants totaling 250 thousand somoni
DUSHANBE, 19.10.2017. /NIAT “Khovar”/. The results of the regional conference of women-entrepreneurs entitled “Women’s entrepreneurship: achievements and prospects” were summed up in Kurgan-Tube. 21 successful women-entrepreneurs received grants from the chairman of Khatlon region Davlatsho Gulmahmadzoda in the amount of 20, 10 and 8 thousand somoni totaling 250 thousand somoni.
As NIAT “Khovar” was reported by Sabohat Rahimzoda — chairman of the National Association of Women-Entrepreneurs “Kadbonu” and a member of the Working Group on Support of Woman’s Entrepreneurship under the State Committee for Investments and State Property Management of the Republic of Tajikistan, this conference was held with the purpose of fulfilling the instructions of the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan His Excellency Emomali Rahmon and the support of women-entrepreneurs, as well as the development of woman’s entrepreneurship.
According to the source, the event was attended by more than 150 leading women-entrepreneurs from all over the region. 16 of them were recipients of the Grant of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, 42 persons — the Grant of the chairman of the region and 41 — members of the Council of Women-Entrepreneurs at the Regional Department for Women and Family Affairs.
“There also took place an exchange of experience. Women told about their successes and sincerely thanked the Leader of the Nation for the direct support of woman’s entrepreneurship, as well as shared their proposals and initiatives in their presentations”, — said Sabohat Rahimzoda.
It should be noted that the grants of the chairman of Khatlon region for women-entrepreneurs were created in 2016. For two years 42 successful women entrepreneurs have already received these grants.
