“International initiatives of the Leader of the Nation in solving global water problems” — a valuable textbook for students and specialists
DUSHANBE, 29.11.2017 /NIAT “Khovar”/. The stable position and leader role of the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon was duly appreciated by the world community. The foreword of the new book titled “International initiatives of the Leader of the Nation in the solving global water problems” with these words begins. The book was presented today, November 29, in Dushanbe. The authors of publication are the employees of the Center for Strategic Studies under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Umed Davlatov and Muhammad Amirkhonov.
At the book presentation ceremony, the Director of the Center for Center for Strategic Studies Khudoberdi Kholiqnazar noted that the International Decade for Action “Water for Sustainable Development, 2018-2028” is the fourth global initiative of the Head of State on water resources, which was supported by the world community. In this regard, today Tajikistan occupies one of the leading positions on the promotion of water issues and, accordingly, is recognized as a leading country and a country champion in promoting these issues. Both, the world community and the UN member states, thank Tajikistan for the promotion of water initiatives. Taking into account the importance of this topic, the Center for Strategic Studies has published a collection of articles on materials of conferences and forums devoted to water issues.
Khudoberdi Kholiqnazar expressed the hope that this book will serve as a valuable textbook for the students of the higher educational institutions and may be of particular interest to specialists studying water issues.
