On 1 November 2017 Ambassador Mahmadamin Mahmadaminov, Permanent Representative of Tajikistan to the UN addressed the High-level Symposium “Global Energy Interconnection: Advancing the Sustainable Development Goals», organized by the UN Department for Economic and Social Affairs (UN DESA). NIAT “Khovar” has been reported by the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Tajikistan to the UN.
The Permanent Representative of Tajikistan presided over one of the panels of the event. At the panel he briefed participants on the energy potential of Tajikistan and noted the importance of developing the energy sector for the country.
