President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov visited the National Museum of Tajikistan
DUSHANBE, 02.11.2017. /NIAT “Khovar”/. President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov visited the National Museum of Tajikistan on the evening of November 2nd.
The First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan Davlatali Said has accompanied the President of Turkmenistan on visiting the Museum.
On showing the museum to Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the director of the National Museum of Tajikistan Abduvali Sharifzoda, told about Tajik history, unique collection and valuable exhibits, which have the oldest centuries-old history.
On the completion of the visit to the National Museum of Tajikistan, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov highlighted the role of the Great Silk Road in the history of the two states and stressed that at the meeting with the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon were discussed the issues of humanitarian development, including education, culture, scientific and research works on history, ethnography, and other topics.
“We should be proud that we are the nations that have the richest ancient history and unique culture, we must pass it to the future younger generation. I was glad to get acquainted with the beautiful collection, and the museum animates itself”, — Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov said.
