Tajik-Azerbaijani inter-parliamentary cooperation discussed in Baku
DUSHANBE, 04.11.2017. /NIAT “Khovar”/. The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Republic of Azerbaijan Rustam Soli met with the Chairman of the Milli Majlis (Parlament) of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ogtay Asadov in Baku on November 2nd.
According to the MFA Information Department, during the meeting the parties discussed a broad range of issues of bilateral interaction, including inter-parliamentary cooperation.
Noting the positive dynamics of the development of multidimensional bilateral relations, the sides reaffirmed the mutual desire for further development of the Tajik-Azerbaijani inter-parliamentary relations, the need to create a favorable atmosphere for expanding and deepening bilateral trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation.
Also, the parties have constructive exchanged views on topical issues of international and regional security.
