Tajikistan and EU discussed bilateral and multilateral cooperation in Samarkand
DUSHANBE, 10.11.2017. /NIAT “Khovar”/. The issues of bilateral and multilateral cooperation between the Republic of Tajikistan and the European Union were discussed in Samarkand at the meeting of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirodjidin Aslov with the European Commissioner for International Cooperation and Development Neven Mimitsa. NIAT “Khovar” has been reported by the Information Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan.
“During the meeting, the sides discussed the issues of bilateral and multilateral cooperation between the Republic of Tajikistan and the European Union, ways to strengthen cooperation in the process of implementation of the National Development Strategy of the Republic of Tajikistan for the period until 2030 and other issues of mutual interest”, — reads the message of the ministry.
It is also reported that the high-ranking representative of the European Union expressed readiness to make efforts to promote more actively various EU projects and programs in Tajikistan.
The two parties have expressed satisfaction with the current level of relations between Tajikistan and the EU, as well as confirmed mutual interest in further deepening mutually beneficial cooperation.
