IFFHS included FC “Istiqlol” in the top 250 best clubs of the world

The International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS) announced the rating of the best clubs of the world, which also includes the current champion of Tajikistan – Dushanbe’s FC “Istiqlol”. It was reported by the press service of the Football Federation of Tajikistan.
It is noteworthy that this list included “Istiqlol”. It is the only Tajik club that made an impressive leap, rising from 1122 to 237th position. Now, “Istiqlol” has 83 points. In this list, which includes 400 clubs of the world, the IFFHS took into account the results of the clubs over the past year. The leader of the rating is Real Madrid (Spain). The top 10 clubs of the world also includes Gremio (Brazil), Manchester United (England), Barcelona (Spain), PSG (France), Flamengo (Brazil), Juventus (Italy), Bavaria (Germany), Manchester City (England) and Salzburg (Germany).
The leader among the clubs of Asian countries became Al-Hilal (Saudi Arabia). The top 5 clubs of Asian countries also includes Al-Ahli (Saudi Arabia), Shanghai SIPG (China), Urawa Reds (Japan) and Ulsan (South Korea). The record holder for improving the position in the rating is the Singapore’s “Home United”, which soared to 1279 positions and took 301th. Among Uzbek clubs, the highest position — 217th — is occupied by the Tashkent “Lokomotiv”.
