DUSHANBE, 10.01.2018. /NIAT “Khovar”/. The drawing of the preliminary round of the Cup of the Football Federation of Tajikistan in Dushanbe zone took place yesterday, January 9 in the conference-hall of the Football Federation of Tajikistan /FFT/.

According to the FFT’s press service, as in previous years, the FFT Cup will be held in two stages – preliminary and final.  The preliminary stage will be held in three zones – Dushanbe, Sugd and Khatlon. The tournament in Dushanbe starts on January 22.

Dushanbe zone will be attended by eight clubs, which, according to the results of yesterday’s draw, were divided into two groups — A and B.

As a result of the preliminary stage of the tournament, the best two teams from the three zones will advance to the final part of the Federation Cup to be held in Dushanbe in February.

We will recall that the current holder of the FFT Cup is the Dushanbe’s FC “Istiqlol”, which last year defeated Tursunzoda’s FC “Regar-TadAZ” with a score of 2:1.

 The results of the draw for the preliminary round of the FFT Cup in the Dushanbe zone:

Group A: “Vahdat” (Vahdat), “Lokomotiv-Pamir” (Dushanbe), “Barqchi” (Hisor), “Regar-TadAZ” (Tursunzoda).

Group B: “Istiqlol” (Dushanbe), “Kuktosh” (Rudaki), “FC-83” (Dushanbe), “CSKA Pamir” (Dushanbe).
