DUSHANBE, 17.01.2018 /NIAT “Khovar”/. The youth football team of Tajikistan (U-16) began preparations for the final part of the 2018 Asian Championship to be held from September 20 to October 7 in Malaysia. It was reported by the press service of the Football Federation of Tajikistan.

According to the source, the head coach Zayniddin Rahimov called 25 players — 4 goalkeepers, 7 defenders, 10 midfielders and 4 forwards — to the first gathering in the new year, which lasts until January 30.

As part of the preparations for the Asian Championship, Tajikistan’s youth team is scheduled to hold several foreign gatherings this year and participate in international tournaments in Russia, Kazakhstan and China.

Tajik team will find out its rivals at the Malaysia 2018 Asian Championships later, when the tournament draw will take place.
