FC “Khujand” flew to Turkmenistan for the 2018 AFC Cup match against “Ahal”
DUSHANBE, 12.02.2018 /NIAT “Khovar”/. The vice-champion of Tajikistan — football club “Khujand” on February 10 flew to Ashgabat for the first match of the 2018 AFC Cup play-off against the Turkmen “Ahal”.
According to the press service of the Football Federation of Tajikistan, on arrival in Ashgabat, a delegation of “Khujand” consisting of 26 people took a bus to the city of Balkanabad. For this match the head coach of Khujand’s club Rustam Khojaev took 18 players — two goalkeepers, five defenders, eight midfielders and three strikers.
We will recall that FC “Khujand” plays its first match of the 2018 AFC Cup play-off against the Turkmen “Ahal” on Tuesday, February 13, at the stadium “Sport Toplumy” in Balkanabad. This match starts at 15:00 local time. The return leg between these two clubs takes place on February 20 at the stadium of the 20th anniversary of Independence of Tajikistan in Khujand and starts at 14:00 pm.
