DUSHANBE, 21.02.2018. /NIAT “Khovar”/. On the eve of the 25th anniversary of the formation of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon attended the official commissioning of Tajikistan’s Armed Forces Control Centre.

The Armed Forces Control Center, which is the supreme command and control center of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, is reportedly connected to the administrative centers of the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region (GBAO), Sughd and Khatlon provinces and the Rasht area. It will be the main combat management center for eliminating the external threats to the state’s national security.

With the aim of expanding the capabilities of the Control Centre, in the second stage it reportedly provides for creating of the Command and Control Systems of Air Defence Forces, a Control Centre for Air Force and Air Defence Directorate, a Control Center for ground forces and Rapid Reaction Forces (Mobilization Forces), and other 10 Control Centres in the military units of the Armed Forces of the country will be created. In addition,military mobile command and control post will be created and connected to the Armed Forces Control Center.

The Control Center is provided with the state-of-the-art system of classified video conference through which information will be provided in an electronic format.

Following commissioning of Tajikistan’s Armed Forces Control Centre, the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon visited Military Institute of the Ministry of Defense, where he inspected the Aviation Faculty.

The new educational building has been commissioned on the eve of the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the formation of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Tajikistan. Building comprises four floors, in it 12 classes designed for 250 students, 9 workrooms for officers and teachers, a gym hall, a dormitory for students, canteen and other auxiliary rooms.

It was informed that the Aviation Faculty was established in 2004; it consists of two departments and the sixth training cadet company.

The Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon congratulated the personnel and cadets of the Military Institute of the Ministry of Defense on the 25th anniversary of the formation of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Tajikistan and highly appreciated the contribution of this higher military educational institution to provide various units of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Tajikistan with highly qualified military personnel.

The Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon continued his inspection in commissioning of a 12-storey residential building comprising three blocks for civil servants and military families at the Dushanbe’s Zarafshon neighborhood.
