DUSHANBE, 28.02.2018. /NIAT “Khovar”/. President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon chaired a meeting on preparations for the celebration of 30th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan. The meeting took place in the Palace of the Nation.

Taking part in the meeting were Organizing Committee members.

President of the country Emomali Rahmon emphasized that independence is one of the biggest national achievements of the Tajik people, therefore, in order to honor the sanctities of the land of our ancestors concrete measures should be taken for its solemn celebration.

With the aim of safeguarding national independence, national statehood and glorious national values the Organizing Committee decided that heads of ministries and agencies as well as regional, cities and districts administrators should submit their plans of actions on preparations for celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan for consideration to the government within a month.

It was also decided that the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Executive Office of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan should develop the plan of actions within two months and submit it for consideration of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan.

It is to be reminded that on December 19, 2017, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan signed the Executive Order “On Celebrating the 30th Anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan». According to the signed Executive Order, national holiday will be held throughout the country with special grandeur in 2021.
