President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sooronbay Jeenbekov visited the National Museum of Tajikistan
DUSHANBE, 02.02.2018. /NIAT “Khovar”/. President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sooronbay Jeenbekov, as part of his official visit to the Republic of Tajikistan, visited today, February 2 the National Museum of Tajikistan.
The Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan Azim Ibrohim and other officials accompanied the President of the Kyrgyz Republic on visiting the Museum.
During the excursion, the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sooronbay Jeenbekov and his accompanied delegation visited the halls, in which are exhibited the archaeological finds of the times of the Achaemenid Empire, the Greco-Bactrian state, the Kushan Empire, the Sassanid Empire and the Hephthalites (or Ephthalites). In particular, there are exhibited exact copies of objects made of gold and silver, from the Amudarya treasure, the mock-up and finds of the world-famous Oxus Temple monument, fragments of wall paintings, carved wood, ceramics and clothing samples of these periods.
Upon the completion of his familiarization with the exposition of the National Museum of Tajikistan, the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sooronbay Jeenbekov left a record in the book of honorary guests.
