Commentary of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan on the establishment of «Nizomiddin Alisher Navoi» Park
DUSHANBE, 06.03.2018. /NIAT «Khovar»/. The Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon signed a decree on the establishment of “Nizomiddin Alisher Navoi” Park.
On the basis of the Decree, the Chairman of Dushanbe city should submit a proposal to the majlis of people’s deputies of Dushanbe on changing the name of “50 years of youth” Park to “Nizomiddin Alisher Navoi” Park situated at the Behzod street of Dushanbe city.
According to another instruction of the President of the country Emomali Rahmon, the sculptures of Nuriddin Abdurahmoni Jomi and Nizomiddin Alisher Navoi will be set up in this park as the symbol of friendship of peoples of Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
With a view to implementing the Decree of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan on the establishment of “Nizomiddin Alisher Navoi” Park, the administration of the Executive body of state authority in Dushanbe city will announce a competition for the development of the project of sculptures of the mentioned thinkers.
It should be particularly noted that this step of the Leader of the Nation, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon is taken as a kind demonstration of humanity, peace-loving and facilitation to the strengthening and expansion of friendly relations for the sake of honoring the outstanding sons of the two friendly and neighboring nations – Nuriddin Abdurahmoni Jomi and Nizomiddin Alisher Navoi and their appreciation for the contribution to the cause of strength of friendship of Tajik and Uzbek peoples.
