“MUSICAL EAST”. Under this title Moscow hosts the III Moscow International Song Contest
DUSHANBE, 29.03.2018. /NIAT “Khovar”/. Soon, Moscow hosts the III Moscow International Song Contest “Musical East”, the Ministry of Culture of Tajikistan reports.
According to the source, the contest was established to develop and strengthen friendly and cultural ties between the peoples of Russia and the East. It is supported by the State Duma of the Russian Federation, Rossotrudnichestvo, Rossmolodezhi, DK Gaidarovets, DK Stimul, Vostok radio, cultural centers of Azerbaijan, Dagestan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and other organizations of culture, art and concert agencies of Moscow.
“Who will participate and present the Republic of Tajikistan at the contest is still unknown”, — the Ministry of Culture of Tajikistan reported.
The talent contest will be held alternately: one year — a song contest, the next year — a dance contest.
The song contest will be held on April 14, 2018 at 19:00. The dance contest is scheduled for April 2019.
Performers from Eastern countries — from Egypt to Japan, aged 17 to 40 — can take part in the contest. From one state are invited no more than 3 performers (or 3 musical groups, each consisting of no more than 6 artists).
1, 2, 3 places will be determined. The winners will be awarded diplomas, cups, cash and valuable gifts, and participants – certificates. The award ceremony will be held on the same day.
Acceptance of applications will continue until April 5, 2018. The travel and accommodation expenses are borne by the participants.
