President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived in Dushanbe on a state visit
DUSHANBE, 09.03.2018 /NIAT “Khovar”/. The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, His Excellency Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived in Dushanbe on a state visit. At the Dushanbe International Airport the distinguished guest was welcomed by the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, the members of the Government of the country and the guard of honor.
This is the first visit of Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Tajikistan as the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
A few minutes later the official meeting of the President of Uzbekistan will take place at the Palace of the Nation. It is planned that the Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon will meet with Shavkat Mirziyoyev today at the Palace of the Nation, during which issues of bilateral cooperation will be discussed. In the afternoon, there will also be talks between the official delegations of both countries in the expanded format, during which more than 20 new documents on cooperation will be signed.
