DUSHANBE, 06.03.2018 /NIAT “Khovar”/. Tajik judokas won two medals at the Junior European Cup, which took place on March 3 — 4 in Turkey’s Antalya, the National Olympic Committee of Tajikistan reports.

According to the source, Tajikistan was represented by 9 sportsmen. Ghanijon Ghaniev in the weight category up to 73 kg and Emomrizo Qurbonov in the weight category up to 90 kg won bronze medals.

At the overall standings, Tajik team took 14th place. The first place was ranked by Turkey’s judokas, who won 7 gold, 5 silver and 13 bronze medals. The second place took Kazakhstanis (5-2-7), and the third — Azerbaijanis (1-3-1).
