Tajikistan’s Simplified visa application procedure for 112 nationals’ (update 2018)
DUSHANBE, 19.03.2018. /NIAT “Khovar”/. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan has published the list of countries, whose citizens have the right to obtain a visa of the Republic of Tajikistan under the simplified procedure.
According to the MFA Information Department, by the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan of March 1, 2018, No. 89, on amendments and additions to Decree No. 31 of the Government of the Republic of January 25, 2017, «On the rules of registration, visa issuance and electronic visa to foreign citizens and stateless persons», have been made the following changes and additions.
1) In order to create favorable conditions for the stay on the territory of the Republic of Tajikistan of foreign citizens and stateless persons who have not reached the age of 25, who have obtained citizenship of another country by birth and whose parents are citizens of the Republic of Tajikistan, the new type of visa «XC3» has been introduced. Along with this, the above-mentioned citizens are given a simplified procedure that entitles them to a visa for a period of three years, if they can provide a birth certificate and a copy of their parents’ passports.
2) To create favorable conditions for tourists and foreign citizens, except for the list of countries whose citizens had the opportunity to obtain a visa of the Republic of Tajikistan in a simplified form, an additional 36 countries were added to the list, therefor the total number of states of the abovementioned list has reached up to 112 countries.
The list of countries which are added into the list of foreign countries, whose citizens have the right to obtain a visa of the Republic of Tajikistan under the simplified procedure.
