Days of Tajikistan Culture in Japan open in Tokyo
Dushanbe, 10.04.2016. /NIAT “Khovar”/. A solemn opening of the Tajikistan Days of Culture in Japan took place in the concert hall of the Akasaka Kumin Center in Tokyo on April 5, 2018.
A statement by the Tajik MFA Information Department indicated that the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to Japan Dr. Hamrokhon ZARIFI opned the event. In his speech, the Ambassador stressed the importance of holding such events, which designed to cement the bonds of friendship between the two countries through cultural exchange, and to introduce and show to Japanese public the cultural and spiritual heritage of the Tajik people.
The famous Tajik melodies of different genres were performed on the stage. The audience warmly and enthusiastically applauded the talented musician and singers — Sirojiddin Juraev, Madina Aknazarova and Firdavs Hoshimov, who charmed the Japanese audience with their repertoire.
In the margin of the Culture Days the exhibition of the dedicated to the «The Year of Tourism Development and Folk Crafts in Tajikistan», declared by the Founder of Peace and National Unity — the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, H.E. Mr. Emomali Rahmon, was held.
The exhibition presented samples of arts and crafts of the Tajik people, information materials on tourism opportunities in Tajikistan, as well as traditional attributes of Navruz Holiday. The exhibition attracted the attention of a large number of visitors. The event was the continuation of the promotion of the culture and ancient history of the Tajik people.
The events in the framework of the Tajikistan Culture Days in Japan will continue until April 7.
Tajikistan Culture Days in Japan is organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in cooperation with Min-On Concert Association, the Akasaka Kumin Center, and the management of the Japanese companies «Cockey Systems Co. Ltd., Asia Engineering Consultant Co., Ltd., and “Guliston” dance ensemble.
