Dmitry Medvedev: It is necessary to increase trade turnover between Russia and Tajikistan
DUSHANBE, 31.05.2018. /NIAT “Khovar”/. The trend of growth in trade turnover between Russia and Tajikistan needs to be consolidated, Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said. It was reported by the Sputnik agency.
“In general, we noted that trade and economic relations between our countries are developing”, — Medvedev said.
According to him, the volume of trade turnover in the past year has not grown as fast as we would like. “But according to the results of the first quarter of this year, there was a more visible increase, almost 20%. This trend must be fixed”, — Russian Prime Minister noted.
He said that during the talks the parties agreed on further steps to develop exports and intensify work on current projects.
