Chief Executive of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Dr. Abdullah Abdullah laid a wreath at the Ismoili Somoni monument in Dushanbe
DUSHANBE, 21.06.2018 /NIAT “Khovar”/. Today, the Chief Executive of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Dr. Abdullah Abdullah, as part of his official visit to the Republic of Tajikistan, visited the main square of Dushanbe city – “Dusti” /Friendship/.
Dr. Abdullah Abdullah paid tribute to the memory and laid floral wreath at the monument of the founder of the first Tajik state Ismoili Somoni.
In this ceremony, the Chief Executive of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan was accompanied by the members of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.
We will recall that Dr. Abdullah Abdullah, as part of his official visit to the Republic of Tajikistan, has met with the Chairman of Majlisi namoyandagon Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan Shukurjon Zuhurov and the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan Qohir Rasulzoda.
Following the top level meetings and talks between the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan Qohir Rasulzoda and the Chief Executive of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Dr. Abdullah Abdullah there was held a signing ceremony of bilateral documents.
On June 20, Dr. Abdullah Abdullah has also attended the International High-Level Conference on International Decade for Action “Water for Sustainable Development”, 2018-2028.
