Condolences of the Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon following the death of academician of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tajikistan, Doctor of Historical Sciences Rahim Masov
DUSHANBE, 21.06.2018 /NIAT “Khovar”/. On June 21, 2018, Doctor of historical sciences, academician of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tajikistan Rahim Masov passed away at the age of 79.
The President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon expressed his deepest sympathy to Masov’s family and friends and to all Tajik scientists.
«Rahim Masov during his fruitful life dealt with studying the history of statehood and the Tajik nation and left behind a priceless scientific heritage that reflects various aspects of the past of our people.
In his scientific works he researched unknown pages of the history of Tajik people, relying on credible sources and taking into account scientific reality.
Outstanding achievements of Rahim Masov regarding the recognition of the national identity and preservation of historical values will forever remain in the memory of the people of Tajikistan».
