Junior football team of Tajikistan completed training camp in Japan with a victory over Urawa Reds
DUSHANBE, 29.06.2018 /NIAT “Khovar”/. The junior football team of Tajikistan (U-16) led by head coach Zainiddin Rahimov completed a one-week training camp in Kasima of Japan.
According to the press service of the Football Federation of Tajikistan, in the third final test match, Tajik junior team played with Urawa Reds (U-17) and won with a score of 3:2. The goals of country’s junior team were scored by Rustam Soirov (2) and Sunatullo Ismoilov (1).
Earlier, Zainiddin Rahimov’s wards had two control games. They defeated their peers from Ibaraki club — 2:1 and lost to Kasima Antlers (U-18) — 1:2.
We will recall that the training camp in Japan was aimed at preparing the junior team of the country for the final part of the 2018 Asian Championship to be held from September 20 to October 7 in Malaysia. At the Asian Championship, junior team of Tajikistan will play in Group A against the teams of Malaysia, Japan and Thailand.
