Parliament of Tajikistan introduced amendments and additions to security law
DUSHANBE, 13.06.2018 /NIAT “Khovar”/. The deputies of the Lower Chamber of Parliament of the country introduced amendments and additions to the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On Security”.
The First Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for National Security of the Republic of Tajikistan Mansurjon Umarov, commenting this issue before deputies of the Lower Chamber, noted that the aim of introducing amendments and additions to the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On Security” is to organize the activity of the apparatus of the Security Council as the structural subdivision of the Executive Office of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan and to transfer it under the functional subordination of the Head of the Executive Office of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan.
It was noted that the draft Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On introducing amendments and additions to the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On Security” was developed by the Legal Department of the Executive Office of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan and in accordance with the instruction of the Head of the Executive Office of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan was agreed with relevant ministries and departments and was submitted to Majlisi namoyandagon by the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.
