Parliament of Tajikistan reviewed the draft Law “On Protection of Personal Information”
DUSHANBE, 04.06.2018 / NIAT “Khovar”/. The session of the Council of Majlisi namoyandagon /Lower House/ was held today under the chairmanship of the Chairman of the Majlisi namoyandagon Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan Shukurjon Zuhurov. NIAT “Khovar” has been reported by Majlisi namoyandagon press centre.
According to the source, the Council considered the draft Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On Protection of Personal Information”.
The Chairman of Committee of Majlisi namoyandagon on law enforcement, defence and security Jurakhon Majidzoda commenting this issue to Council’s members, explained that the draft Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On Protection of Personal Information” was submitted by the Deputies of Majlisi namoyandagon Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan O.Salimzoda, M. Ruzador, А. Kholmuhammadzoda and J. Saidov.
The draft law was developed and submitted to determine the organizational, legal and economic aspects of personal information, as well as to regulate the basic principles related to the collection, processing and protection of personal information.
The draft Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On State Forecasts, Concepts, Strategies and Programs of Socio-Economic Development of the Republic of Tajikistan” and the draft Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On Pasture” were also discussed at the Council’s session.
