SCNS RT: an active member of an organized criminal group was detained with 100 kg of drugs
DUSHANBE, 12.06.2018 /NIAT “Khovar”/. On June 9 at approximately 21:15, the employees of the Department of the State Committee for National Security in GBAO in the course of operation in the border area of Yomchi village of rural community Mirzojon Shirinov of Shugnon district have detained a resident of this village Shuhrat Tuyboshev, 1990 birth year, active member of an organized criminal group. During the detention at Tuyboshev Sh. M. were found 100 kg of hashish narcotic substance, 3 firearms (2 Glock and 1 Beretta pistols) and 175 cartridges.
The seized material evidence was obtained by a detainee through contraband way from a citizen of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan.
In the course of operation 3 Afghan smugglers had armed resistance, crossed Panj River and fled to Afghanistan. As a result of the respond fire of Tajik security officials one of Afghan smugglers was neutralized.
In relation of Tuyboshev Shuhrat Mamlukovich has been filed a criminal case under the articles 335 part 1, 289 part 3, 195 part 2 and 200 part 4 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Tajikistan.
During his interrogation, reliable data were obtained regarding close ties and leaders of the organized criminal groups who are directly involved in the crime. The State Committee for National Security of the Republic of Tajikistan continues operative-search measures in this direction.
The State Committee for National Security of the Republic of Tajikistan in order to ensure the security of the individual, society and the state conducts a merciless struggle against organized criminal groups that violate stability and tranquility in a society whose main income is the proceeds from the smuggling of narcotic drugs and weapons.
