FFT President Rustami Emomali visited 2018 FIFA World Cup final
DUSHANBE, 16.07.2018 /NIAT “Khovar”/. The President of the Football Federation of Tajikistan Rustami Emomali at the invitation of the FIFA President Gianni Infantino visited the closing ceremony of the 2018 World Cup on July 15 and watched the final match between France and Croatia teams that was held at the Moscow Luzhniki Stadium. NIAT “Khovar” has been reported by the press service of the Football Federation of Tajikistan.
In this match, France beat Croatia 4-2 and for the second time in its history won the World Cup. The last time the French team became the World Champion exactly 20 years ago — at the 1998 World Cup, which was held from June 10 to July 12 in France.
The FIFA World Cup that took place from June 14 to July 15 in 11 cities of Russia, was held at a high organizational level and received many positive reviews from around the world.
