DUSHANBE, 03.07.2018 /NIAT “Khovar”/. The Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon accompanied by Dushanbe Chairman Rustami Emomali took part in the opening ceremony of the Child Park in Dushanbe.

The construction of the Child Park and overhaul of the building of the State institution of Dushanbe Child and Adolescent Center were carried out by the decree of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan dated November 10, 2017 and in accordance with the Plan of measures for landscaping, greening of parks and squares, and construction of sports pitches in the territory of Dushanbe.

The Child Park occupies a total area of 3 hectares. It features an amphitheater designed for 500 people, including sports ground, tennis court, chess playing place, coffeehouse and other facilities. A fountain and squares were also created here.

The area of landscaping is 15 thousand square meters. More than 950 trees were planted in the park.

In addition, for children’s leisure 40 different fantastic toys were sculptures, such as tortoise, deer, squirrel, wolf, peacock, bear, and rabbit.

It should be noted that throughout the reconstruction of the park the Dushanbe Child and Adolescent Center, consisting of 28 classes, a library, a conference hall, a dance hall and others auxiliary facilitties were also renovated under the instruction of the Leader of the Nation.
