Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon met with Salini Impregilo CEO Pietro Salini
DUSHANBE, 30.07.2018 /NIAT “Khovar”/. Today, in the government building, the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon received the Chief Executive Officer /CEO/ of Salini Impregilo Pietro Salini.
At the meeting the issues of cooperation between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Italian company Salini Impregilo on the fulfillment of bilateral obligations for the construction and rehabilitation of the Roghun hydropower plant /HPP/ were discussed.
The President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, expressing his viewpoint on the process of construction of the Roghun HPP dam, which he observed during his working trip, stressed that in order to commission the first unit in autumn it is necessary to carry out all work timely and qualitatively.
During the meeting, the Salini Impregilo management informed the Head of State Emomali Rahmon on the fulfillment of obligations and the progress of the construction work.
It was expressed confidence that the Salini Impregilo as a contractor for the construction of the Roghun HPP dam will take necessary measures to implement the project plan for the construction of the facility.
