Somon Air and «Transavia Express” opened first direct flight to Antalya
DUSHANBE, 02.07.2018. /NIAT “Khovar”/. Somon Air, as part of the program to expand its route network, commences charter flights from Dushanbe to Antalya, Turkey. The inauguration of the first charter flight of Somon Air on Dushanbe-Antalya route took place on July 1. The customer of the flight is the tour operator COMPAS. In the tourist market the representative of the tour operator is the LLC “Transavia Express”. The flights on this route will be carried out once every ten days, Somon Air press centre reports.
According to the source, all flights will be carried out on Boeing 737-800 and Boeing 737-900 aircrafts. The flight time from Dushanbe to Antalya is 5 hours, on the way back – 4 hours and 40 minutes.
We will recall that since May this year Somon Air increased the frequency of flights on Dushanbe – Istanbul route to three flights per week – on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays, as well as changed the time of departure. For the convenience of passengers since May 18 the departure time has been changed, both from Dushanbe and Istanbul. Now the time of departure from Dushanbe to Istanbul is 05-30 and from Istanbul to Dushanbe – 21-30 local time. This schedule will allow business passengers to spend one day in Istanbul, having arrived there in the morning and returning back the next morning. Lovers of tourism and shopping can take advantage of the weekend and have time for 3 days to see the beauties of Istanbul and return to Dushanbe by the beginning of the working week.
It should be noted that to date, Somon Air, an IATA member, successfully operates flights from Tajikistan to Germany, UAE, Turkey, China, Russia and Kazakhstan. The fleet of the airline consists of Boeing 737-300, -800 and -900.
