Tajikistan Ambassador to the UN presided over the High Level Political Forum 2018 Session
DUSHANBE, 18.07.2018. /NIAT “Khovar”/. On 17 July 2018, the Permanent Representative of the Republic of Tajikistan to the United Nations Mahmadamin Mahmadaminov presided over the session of HLPF 2018 on the submission of the Voluntary National Reviews (VNR) by the UN member-states.
NIAT “Khovar” has been reported by the Tajik MFA Information Department.
VNRs aim to facilitate the sharing of experiences, including successes, challenges and lessons learned, with a view to accelerating the implementation of the 2030 Agenda. It should be noted that last year the Republic of Tajikistan, along with 43 UN member states and the first among the countries of Central Asia, submitted its VNR on the implementation of Agenda 2030.
