DUSHANBE, 01.08.2018 /NIAT “Khovar”/. Today, the People’s Democratic Party of Tajikistan issued a statement on the brutal killing of foreign tourists by criminals. It, in particular, says:

“The People’s Democratic Party of Tajikistan strongly condemns the brutal terrorist act of an organized criminal group that led to the death of four foreign tourists and expresses its sincere condolences to the families and relatives of the victims.

According to the information of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, this monstrous act, which at first glance was similar to the accident, was deliberately committed by a large group of young extremists in order to destabilize the peace and stability in Tajikistan.

Tajiks at all times lived in peace and harmony, in an environment of peaceful coexistence with neighbors, always cherished stability and peace, and this is the main essence of the far-sighted and wise policy of the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon. As a result, we all live today under a cloudless sky, where white pigeons – symbols of peace soar.

However, the mercenaries, bribed from the outside, having committed the most monstrous crime — the murder of people, intended to prevent the widespread tranquility in our country and to carry out their dirty thoughts in Tajikistan. Especially in the announced Year of Tourism and Folk Crafts Development they tried to show our Motherland as a troubled and unstable country.

Of course, they did not achieve their goal. Since the glorious Tajik people, who tasted the bitter fruits of the imposed civil war, will never want to lose peace and tranquility in the country.

The People’s Democratic Party of Tajikistan calls on sensitive and sympathetic people, writers, all representatives of intelligentsia, activists and veterans, elders with great life experience to condemn all kinds of provocative acts by the enemies of the people and unite around the Leader of the Nation. Since cohesion is a symbol of unity and invincibility of the nation”.
