In Warsaw, the conference participants — Tajiks living in Poland were called to be vigilant and not fall into the trap of extremist and terrorist groups
DUSHANBE, 15.09.2018. /NIAT “Khovar”/. Yesterday in Warsaw, at the initiative of Tajik students, a conference was held to prevent the spread of extremist-terrorist ideology among Tajiks living in Poland.
The conference was opened by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Federal Republic of Germany and Poland Maliksho Nematov, who described the dynamics of the development of relations between Tajikistan and the European countries.
According to the Ambassador, during his previous working trip to Poland, he held meetings with the officials of the Ministry of Education and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of this country at which the parties reaffirmed their readiness to develop friendly relations and mutually beneficial cooperation in the spheres of education and economy. In particular, Polish businessmen gladly accepted the invitation of the Tajik ambassador to visit Tajikistan to attend the International Business Forum, scheduled to be held on 14th October 2018 in Dushanbe.
At the same time,Nematov expressed concern over the participation of terrorist and extremist parties and groups banned in Tajikistan at an OSCE/ODIHR meeting in Warsaw. “This fact can not but affect negatively the relations between our country and this organization”, — he noted.
The conference was attended by governmental delegation led by First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan Nizomiddin Zohidi, participating at the OSCE/ODIHR meeting, as well as Polish scientists and experts studying the ongoing processes in Tajikistan.
The participants called on Tajik students and other compatriots living in the center of Europe to be politically vigilant, not to fall into the “paws” of extremist and terrorist groups, and resolutely oppose their goals and tasks, which consist in introducing discord in the relations between Tajikistan and the European countries.
