President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon met with the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev
DUSHANBE, 27.09.2018 /NIAT “Khovar”/. The Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon held talks with the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev on the sidelines of the session of the CIS Council of Heads of State in Dushanbe.
The two leaders discussed issues of bilateral cooperation.
President of the country Emomali Rahmon welcomed the Head of friendly and fraternal Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev here in Dushanbe and noted that the CIS Council of Heads of State session is a very good occasion and an important impetus for the development of traditional relations.
It was stressed that we attach high priority to the relation of friendship and cooperation with our closest neighbor, brotherly Uzbekistan.
Thanks to the unwavering will of the Heads of State and by relentless efforts of the peoples of both countries in a short time a number of problems have been eliminated.
The heads of state, summing up their reciprocal state visits to both countries, expressed their satisfaction with the process of implementation of previously signed agreements that is already eliminating existing problems.
It was stressed that the creative goals of the governments of both countries, including the construction of two HPPs on the Zarafshon River and the opening of a branch of the company «Artel» in Tajikistan will serve the benefit of the peoples of our countries.
President of the country Emomali Rahmon noted that for the development and implementation of projects in the trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres, there is a legal framework, and all available material and other reserves will be used to implement these goals.
