September 23 will be celebrated the Day of Khujand city
KHUJAND, 19.09.2018. /NIAT “Khovar”/. On September 23 this year, the residents of Khujand city of Sughd province will celebrate the Day of city near the Musical Comedy Theater named after Kamol Khujandi. It is expected that during the program 40 women handicraftsmen of Khujand city will be awarded with the grants of the city chairman.
According to the Executive body of state authority of Khujand city, on the day of the celebration, the participants and residents of the city will present achievements of various spheres of the city with products of folk crafts, production of industrial enterprises, textiles, confectionery products.
On this day, some activists of various industries will be awarded the title of “Honorary Citizen of Khujand city”.
It is also planned to hold a colorful concert program with the participation of art masters of the province center and the capital of the country.
It should be noted that this year the Day of Khujand city is being held for the fourth time in Sughd province.
