“THE OSCE SHOULD DEVELOP A WORKING MECHANISM…”. Chairman of the Association of Tajik Youth in Russia Khusrav Ayubov addressed the OSCE meeting in Warsaw
DUSHANBE, 14.09.2018. /NIAT “Khovar”/. As we reported earlier, the OSCE human dimension implementation annual meeting is taking place in Warsaw these days. Yesterday, the Chairman of the Association of Tajik Youth in Russia Khusrav AYUBOV made speech at the meeting. We present the full text of his speech below.
“Thank you, Mrs. Moderator!
Hello dear participants of the 7th OSCE Human Dimension Meeting-2018.
I am the Chairman of the Association of Tajik Youth in Russia, and we are more than 40,000 today. My keynote address is scheduled for September 18, but yesterday’s and today’s meetings did not leave me indifferent and I would like to express my opinion, my position.
We, of course, oppose all discrimination and all manifestations of intolerance, including discrimination on religious faith. But also it is necessary to take into account that persons or a group of persons do not use this moment for their own mercenary purposes.
Today we observe how the terrorist organization “Islamic renaissance party”, representing itself as political and religious refuge, avoid from its committed criminal offenses in Tajikistan.
Our recommendation to the OSCE as one of the authoritative regional organizations and states-participants is to develop mechanisms by which it will be possible to distinguish real persons who are persecuted for religious and political reasons from those who use it to avoid responsibility for their criminal offenses.
That’s all I wanted to say. Thank you”.
